The session

How the session runs.

  1. The brief.

Your role brief arrives in advance, so you start ready. The session opens with a short recap of the rules and what your team must decide.

  2. Evidence in stages.

Records arrive as the case develops. Each role works its part and reports back.

  3. The team decision.

You weigh what the evidence supports, challenge each other and commit to a recommendation.

  4. Defend your call.

Each role explains and defends its findings to the practitioner, who asks why.

  5. The debrief.

The practitioner walks through what happened, where your reasoning held and where it didn't.

Facilitator's note

Sample Participant traced every payment in the first evidence stage and reconciled the figures before the team check-in, which gave the Lead Investigator a reliable base for the decision. They challenged an early assumption calmly and with evidence, and kept their findings clear for the rest of the team.
