About
Built for the real work of investigation.
Fraudlyst trains you and verifies how you investigate. You work realistic cases and make the decisions an investigator makes, and every case is assessed using AI-assisted assessment and reviewed by experienced practitioners. You learn as you go, and you leave with evidence of what you can do, not just what you have studied.
The learning is designed to build. You practise as you prove. You may get hints and guidance along the way, and the cases get tougher as you progress, each one building on the lessons of the last.
What makes Fraudlyst different
The work itself, assessed.
Your process, assessed.
You will decide what evidence to request, what to look at next and why. Your reasoning is assessed, not just your final answer.
Every case assessed.
In Applied and Advanced, every case is assessed using AI-assisted assessment and reviewed by experienced practitioners.
Feedback from experienced practitioners.
At key points, practitioners review your full written work and tell you what held up, what didn't and why.
A record employers can check.
Your Record of Skills shows your work case by case. Share it with a verification code, and employers can check it for themselves.

In Rhoda's words
Hello, my name is Rhoda, and it is an absolute pleasure to have you read this.
Before I tell you about Fraudlyst, let me ask you something. If someone asked you today to show them you can investigate fraud, what would you show them?
If that question is hard to answer, you are not alone, and it is the reason I created Fraudlyst. I saw a real gap. So many people have the passion for this work. They take the courses, collect the certificates, and still have nothing that shows they can actually investigate. Employers want proof. Good teams grow their people, and that starts with knowing what someone can already do as an investigator. But how do you prove you can do the work when no one has ever handed you a case?
That is the gap I saw: plenty of ways to learn about fraud, but not enough places to practise investigating it, and to show what you can do.
And this work matters. What comes to mind when you hear the word fraud? In England and Wales, fraud now makes up almost half of the crime measured by the Crime Survey for England and Wales (opens in a new tab). According to the Office for National Statistics, there were an estimated 4.5 million fraud incidents in the year to March 2026 (opens in a new tab), and about 1 in 13 people aged 16 and over were victims (opens in a new tab).
Behind every one of those numbers is someone's savings, their business or their trust. And when fraud is stopped, it's often because the right people knew where to look.
That's why I'm building Fraudlyst.
Fraudlyst is where you practise. Our cases are realistic, and they will test you. You'll reconcile transactions, trace where the money went, separate allegations from findings and decide what the evidence really supports. As the cases get harder, they'll reflect the kinds of tools investigators rely on. And at key points, experienced practitioners review your work and tell you honestly how you reasoned, not just whether you got the answer.
Passion deserves a way to prove itself, wherever you are. This is it.
If you're ready to stop reading about investigation and start doing it, join the waiting list. Your first case is waiting.
I'd love to hear from you, so feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn (opens in a new tab).

The standard we hold ourselves to
- Every case is built from patterns seen in real investigations. Every Simulation, Applied and Advanced case will be reviewed before release by our team of experienced practitioners, including legally qualified practitioners where it relies on UK law. The Maya case has been through our practitioner review.
- Feedback explains your reasoning, not just whether you were right.
- Records state what happened, including every attempt, so they mean something.
- Your work will be reviewed by vetted, background-checked practitioners from across the fraud field. Who reviews your work.
- You decide who sees your record.
Who it's for
- Aspiring investigators who want to show they can do the work.
- Early-career investigators and analysts building experience across more types of case.
- Experienced professionals who want to prove their skill on complex investigations.
Open to anyone aged 18 or over, anywhere. Our cases use UK law and regulation as the reference framework.
What comes next

- Applied and Advanced - full programmes, with every case assessed and reviewed work at key points.
- Verifiable Records of Skills - records you share, and employers can check.
- A growing case bank - new cases across more types of fraud, each reviewed before release.
- A community of Fraudlyst members - a place to meet other members, talk through cases and learn from each other's approaches.
- Fraudlyst for teams - training and verified casework for whole teams, with a record for each person.
- Live case reviews - realistic conversations and reviews of publicly reported fraud cases, planned for our next stage.
- Working towards recognition across the field - our aim is for the Fraudlyst standard to be recognised wherever investigation skill matters.
More to come as the product unfolds.
